ADITYA MOHUN

Aditya Mohun is an aspiring creative, director of photography, and writer with a strong passion for visual storytelling. As the former COO and Creative Director of Throwdown Media, he has worked on a diverse array of projects, showcasing his versatility and skill. His experience spans across the Tamil and Telugu bilingual film Thanga Muttai/Bangaru Guddu under the direction of Gopinath Narayanamoorthy (to be released) and the Award nominated Malayalam short film Karakan directed by Ajay Kovoor, where he contributed as a Producer and Director of Photography (DOP). Similarly he has also worked as the DOP for the Award Nominated short film Mary the Salvadore. His work with the camera also shines through the Youtube sensational short film Choices (2025), produced by Throwdown Media & Cook MEA, directed by Pradeep Mohan (@madrascala). He has also worked as a DOP on the Tamil music video Thennmittai, featured on Galatta and composed by Shashank Ashok. Alongside his role as a DOP and writer, Aditya is also a director, having created Alai, an experimental film, and Starstruck, a music video for Indian rapper Akhil OSO. As a fellow member of the Screenwriters Association (SWA), Mumbai, he is preparing to move onto larger feature film projects. Since 2017, Aditya has built a career as a freelance photographer in Dubai, U.A.E., with his photography recognized at Xposure, a creative trade and photography festival, where he has exhibited under the “Photowalk Connect” banner since 2018. His contributions as a photographer have also been recognized in the Atlas of Humanity project curated by Martin Vegas, reflecting his dedication to creative exploration across multiple platforms.
